By making an order, the customer understands and agrees:
That our products are not intended for human consumption, or any kind of prohibited, unauthorized, illegal or inappropriate use or resale. That our products are sold primarily for: 1) science & hobby, 2) processing & manufacturing, 3) research & development, 4) arts & crafts, 5) ornament & decoration. That knowing more specific product applications within those categories is the sole responsibility of the customer. That the products have not been tested for any such suitability or utility or safety, and the customer assumes all responsibility to properly use, handle, process and market in accordance with the standards of expertise and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, present and future, local, state, or federal, of this land or any land of destination. That since the products consist of a wide range of natures and varying and inconsistent toxicities, they may pose unknown risks, and the customer assumes those risks. That any product or end-product shall not be adulterated, misbranded, then introduced into interstate commerce under Sections 404, 505, or 512 of the US Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and that the products may not be on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) inventory and assumes responsibility to assure that any intended use will be in full compliance with the TSCA and its regulations, if applicable. That the product list in no way constitutes a recommendation or license to infringe any patent. That should any of the products be disposed of, it will be in strict accordance with all laws and regulations that might apply, and it is exclusively the customer's responsibility to contact environmental authorities to ensure proper compliance. That any seed prohibited by law as a noxious weed is not intended for sowing purposes. That we assume no liability for any use or misuse of our products, whether special, incidental, or consequential damages, or whether the purchaserˆs claim is in contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise. That all purchased products will be kept out of the reach of children and those less responsible for their own actions. That if we get any indication of a product-misuse or a TAC violation, we will refuse future business with that customer. That we have the right to refuse business with anyone for any reason. That no refunds will be granted based on illegitimate complaints. That prices are subject to change without notice. That all product weights are dried unless otherwise noted.
Ordering Information
New customers must call 812-379-2508 and verbally recite the statement below agreeing to the TAC before we can process your order. If the office girl is here, she will record your statement. If not, leave your statement on the machine. We use recordings because they are quicker and more binding than written signatures. We'll not need you to recite it again for a 2nd order.
Verbal Statement, Agreeing to the Terms & Conditions for Purchase
"I, the customer, hereby swear that I am over 18 and have read and understand and agree to all the terms and conditions for purchasing from JLF Primary Materials Inc, and realize they are binding under any and all circumstances without modification or amendment, and swear that I will NOT consume or otherwise misuse the products."
Here and now, state and spell your full name, and give the date.
Fill out both sides of the order form and mail it with payment of cash, check, money order, credit card, bank wire, Western Union wire, etc. (Personal checks will take an extra 4 weeks to clear.) Make payment out to "JLF Primary Materials Inc. Minimum order is one unit of any item; free samples are not available. Also order by fax, email, phone or our website (www.jlfcatalog.com). If ordering by phone machine (COD, credit card, etc.), speak loudly, clearly and continuously, leaving all pertinent information.
For shipping, we use US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, etc. We also offer express services and COD orders. (FedEx Ground for cash-COD's, and UPS Ground for money order COD's). The COD fee is $9.50. Sorry, no express services or rush for COD's or live plant orders. FedEx and UPS will not ship to PO Boxes, even with a phone number. FedEx may not deliver to rural addresses. By ordering COD, you are obligated to accept upon arrival. If not, you will be black-listed until you send us a $15.00 penalty fee.
We do not have a storefront because our location is not zoned for business traffic. We are a mail-order-only company, but we can deliver local orders (by appointment only). Please call.
CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS must use their own cards. We cannot send orders to non pre-authorized ship-to addresses. The address you supply needs to be your own credit card billing address, or a pre-authorized alternate one. If you have recently moved or want your order sent to some other address, you'll need to pre-register that address with your credit card company so that it will match during our address verification process. Also, you MUST include the customer service telephone number (on the back of your credit card) on your order form. (The phone numbers may be termed things like "Customer Center" or "Card member Service.") We verify all supplied credit card information. If there is any mismatch, your order will not be processed. Any attempt at credit card fraud will be reported to the proper authorities. All fraudulent fraud claims which result in charge-backs will be contested*. We do not accept credit cards issued on Wells Fargo or Northview banks.
[*A high percentage of fraud claims, which end up as a chargeback against us, are made by credit-card customers who falsely deny making the purchase. This is illegal fraud and is punishable by fines and jail time.]
